MOROCCO SURF LESSONS
The season here runs through the European winter, the waves north of Agadir are long right-handers over sand, and lunch is usually included. These 15 lessons cover Taghazout, Tamraght and the windier summer option at Essaouira.
Spend two hours learning to surf at Essaouira Bay with instructors such as Ismail, Tahir, Nasser, or Zakaria. You’ll warm up on the beach, practice standing on a board, then work on waves in a small group. Boards, wetsuits, lockers, and a hot shower are included. Children and adults can join.

Start with hotel pickup at 9:15 a.m., collect your wetsuit, and head to a beach chosen for the day’s waves. Instructors such as Youssef, Hussein, Sami, and Omar teach theory, warm-up, and water skills in English or French. Choose two hours, or add lunch and a second supervised session for a fuller Taghazout day.

Meet Othman Boussarhane or a fellow English or French-speaking instructor at Agadir Beach, opposite Les Dunes d’Or Hotel. After a beach briefing and warm-up, you’ll practise standing up before heading into shallow white water. Boards and wetsuits are included, and professional action photos are available for an extra charge.

Meet near Bab Marrakech in Essaouira or arrange pickup around the old medina, then head to a quiet sandy beach for a two-hour beginner lesson. You will warm up, practice standing on the board, and surf with an instructor such as Adam, Momo, or Simo nearby. Boards, wetsuits, transport, drinks, and English or French instruction are included.

Meet Explora Watersports on Boulevard Mohamed V for a two-hour Essaouira Beach surf lesson.
